Hells Canyon Scenic Byway
Wallowa Canyon, OR

The byway follows the beautiful Wallowa River across the valley and into scenic Wallowa Canyon. Here, the Wallowa River joins the Minam River. The merging is readily apparent due to the difference in color and clarity of the waters. The confluence is a popular launch point for rafting on the Wallowa River below the settlement of Minam. Minam State Park is futher down the canyon.
