This 4.5 mile trail (one way) to lovely White Pine Lake passes through mountain meadows lush with wildflowers and stands of aspen and pine.

- Allow at least 3 hours for a pleasant hiking experience. This is a popular morning or afternoon hike that is 4.5 miles one way.
- Hours of Operation:
- Open year-round for summer or winter recreationalists; it is, however, difficult to reach the trailhead in winter when Tony Grove Lake Road is closed.

Park at Tony Grove Lake (7 miles from the Byway).
