Logan Canyon Scenic Byway
First Dam/Canyon Entrance Park, UT

When the sun is out, you can bet that there are people gathered at First Dam to enjoy the sunshine, some volleyball, fishing, or even canoeing on the shimmering water. At the edge of the city of Logan, this park is a favorite place to relax close to home.

This grassy park marks the first of three dams constructed to harness the power of Logan River for electricity. The park offers paved parking, picnic sites, a fishing pier, hiking trails and a volleyball area.
