Ohio & Erie Canal Reservation tells stories about nature restoration and the historical role of the Cuyahoga River. Amid a wastewater plant, pipelines, and manufacturing, this 320-acre park includes five miles of the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail. Interpretation describes immigrant roles in shaping culture; nature as a raw material for manufacturing, transportation, and farming; mechanics of pipelines and transmission wires; and how nature fights for survival.
