Mathews Brake National Wildife Refuge, MS

Established in 1980, the Mathews Brake National Wildlife Refuge is one of seven national wildlife refuges in the Theodore Roosevelt National Wildlife Refuge Complex. The refuge encompasses 2,418 acres in west-central Mississippi and is home to more than 30,000 ducks. The refuge also supports a bevy of neotropical migratory birds during migration seasons throughout the year.
