Great River Road
Lansing, IA
This old river town is the home of Mt. Hosmer Park, which has a panoramic view of the Mississippi Valley and the tri-state area of Iowa, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. With two buildings on the National Register of Historic Places, this town has held on to its riverside heritage. Beginning with the native tribes that lived along these riverbanks, the region that is now Lansing has been explored, settled, and has finally become a stop on the Great River Road.
