Richard J. Dorer Memorial Hardwood Forest, MN
Encompassing a land known as the "driftless area" this beautiful forest is populated with walnut, oak, elm, birch, black cherry and pine trees. The variety of life in the forest make it a natural attraction to travelers. Trails and campsites are located throughout the forest that is divided into parts. The "Forest Units" in the Richard J. Dorer Memorial Forest include: Reno, Oak Ridge, Isinours, Brightsdale, Vinegar Ridge, Gribbon Valley, Diamond Creek, and Money Creek. Forest Unit Offices are located in Preston and Caledonia.
