A Traveler's Experience

We were intending to view the fall splendor on the Talimena Drive. But a rainy and windy October took most of the leaves. We found the hiking rewarding in the area of Queen Wilhelmina State Park but trails were hard to travel due to rocks. One night stay in the Queen Wilhelmina Lodge was very enjoyable and food was great. We would go again earlier in the fall.

krebnitz on July 1, 2008My sister and I really loved the beautiful vistas. It is prettier than the pictures. There were plenty of spacious pull-outs so that we could take pictures. Queen Wilhemina Lodge (and the view there) is gorgeous, too. We did not get to eat there, but would like to one day.
