A Traveler's Experience

Being avid bikers, we got a couple of our motorcycle friends to join us for a full day of bike riding to view the beautiful fall foliage along the Cherohala Skyway. Needless to say this time of year attracts other tourists as well, so the parkway was jam-packed with hundreds of people on this particular weekend; however it proved to be one of the most successful trips since we've been enjoying motorcycle riding. We stopped frequently to take advantage of the wonderful colors depicted along the skyway at the overlook as the view is simply breathtaking! I recommend this trip to everyone who enjoys the great outdoors and natural scenic beauty!!

tngal55 on August 29, 2007Driving this Skyway is truly that...a skyway. Some points you feel as if you are in the sky looking down on nature in all her glory. If you haven't seen it, you should add it to your list of places to see before you die....it's SO worth it!
