My first impression of the Strip was of incredulity--it just seems to grow from nowhere out of the desert. Up close, the bright lights and wide boulevard showcase more than just greed--each casino's exterior displays beauty, originality, and architectural delight. Nowhere else is the New York skyline visible from the Egyptian pyramids. Don't miss the fountains at the Bellagio!
