Michigander on September 5, 2008 (traveled on May 26, 2007)We drove the entire Blue Ridge Parkway plus Skyline Drive in our ragtop just before Memorial Day weekend. What an experience. The rhododendrons, mountain laurel, and azaleas were all in bloom. Incredible.

Breathtaking vistas, magnificent weather not a drop of rain and not too hot either. Numerous opportunities to stop, relax and enjoy the view.

MFWagner on September 27, 2005Having traveled Skyline Drive before, we came back and had a great time. It was a hot August day with a distant thunderstorm. The sunset was magnificent.
