December 31, 2007 - Mardi Gras 12th Night at Lake Charles

Lake Charles - The Mardi Gras 12th Night on January 3, 2008 kicks off Southwest Louisiana’s Mardi Gras season. The 2007 royal courts of over 43 “krewes” will be bidden farewell as they participate in one last grand promenade to usher in the 2008 royal courts.

The 12th Night celebration will be held in the Lake Charles Civic Center and begins at 7:00 pm. Following the promenade, music, dancing, and other festivities continue into the night. Door prizes and king cake add to the spirit of the celebration.

Tickets to the event are $4 when purchased in advance and $5 at the door.
