Big Bend Scenic Byway (Florida)

The Big Bend Scenic Byway not only spans three counties, seven national parks, and two watersheds, but also hosts two national wildlife refuges: St. Mark's National Wildlife Refuge and St. Vincent National Wildlife Refuge. With 31,000 acres of bay and 68,000 of land, St. Mark's National Wildlife Refuge features coastal marshes, creeks, and estuaries of seven north Florida rivers. St. Vincent's National Wildlife Refuge is a 12,300-acre island at the west end of Apalachicola Bay.
