Travel US 224, through Ohio's last frontier. Visit rural townships and exciting landmarks, while enjoying the sweeping park lands surrounding you. US 224 passes by the Blanchard River and Lake Erie, so it is a perfect place to enjoy the natural world at its best. This road is also the site of the Old Mill Stream, which inspired a famous song written in 1910 by Tell Taylor, "Down by the Old Mill Stream." Go down by the river to share a picnic lunch under the trees where children can play in the shallow, cool waters.
