Special Considerations

The road is a Type I Back Country Byway and is paved through the entire route, but the roads are narrow and may require a reduced speed in certain areas. Normal passenger cars can navigate easily but visitors should be aware of logging truck activities.

Route is seasonally closed due to heavy snowpack.
