Special Considerations

People with disabilities are able to access many of the developed sites along the byway including those managed by state and federal agencies. Outdoor sites often involve trails that are generally wheelchair accessible or scenic drives that may be undertaken by people of all abilities in their passenger vehicle. Some museums and other sites along the byway offer special programs for hearing or visually impaired visitors, as well.
