There are no restrictions to the types of vehicles allowed on any part of the Palouse Scenic Byway.

Best Time to Drive

The Palouse Scenic Byway is at its most scenic during late May and June when the hills are a patchwork of vibrant greens and colorful blooms.

High Season

Travelers may experience an increase in traffic during harvest in August and during Washington State University football game weekends in the fall.
