This restored 18th Century fort resides on 2000 acres and features museum exhibits and educational programs that focus on the military history of the Lake Champlain and Lake George regions. From the fort, visitors enjoy breathtaking views of Lake Champlain, the Adirondacks and Green Mountains.
This historic fort still relives a history of pivotal battles and strategic wars that played a part in forming the American, Canadian, and European nations. If you happen to be passing through on Labor Day or at the end of June, you may catch a spectacular re-enactment of battles from the Revolutionary War or the French and Indian War.
