State Highway 77 is paved and is often biked and hiked, although no special lanes exist for either activity. The road shoulder is gravel, not paved.

A vault toilet at Mukwonago Trailhead is always open. In addition, State Highway 77 features several local services with restrooms in close proximity to the byway.
