- Best Time to Drive
Spring and fall make for the most scenic driving. Summers are ideal for water activities.
- Fall
A melange of dramatic colors dominate the National Forest, making this a perfect fall drive. Clear Creek Lake is full of migrating waterfowl.
- High Season
Summertime is when the byway is busiest. Fall can also be busy due to wild turkey hunting.
- Spring
Flowering and budding trees provide for a scenic and invigorating drive.
- Summer
Cave Run Lake becomes the place to be during summer months. Campgrounds are at their fullest, but there's usually plenty of room for everyone.
