Driving the Byway

• Begin your drive along the Missouri Great River Road at the northeast corner of the state on US Highway 61.
• Follow US 61 past Canton and La Grange.
• At Hannibal, take State Highway 79.
• Continue on State Highway 79 past Louisiana to I-70.
• Travel through St. Louis and continue south on US 61/67.
• Stay on US 61 when the highways split.
• Continue on US 61 to the end of the Missouri Great River Road and the beginning of the Arkansas Great River Road.
