Special Considerations
So everyone can enjoy the park, its visitors should follow the following guidelines:
- The park belongs to all Minnesotans; treat it with respect and consideration.
- Hunting in the park is prohibited
- Pets must be kept on a leash no longer than six feet
- Motorized vehicles may not use park trails
- Park only in designated park areas
- The park is closes from 10:00 pm until 8:00 am, except in campgrounds and cabin areas. Loud noises and disturbances are prohibited after 10:00 pm.
- Build fires only in fire rings provided
- Group permit rates are available
- DAILY OR ANNUAL PERMITS ARE REQUIRED for all vehicles entering a state park. They may be purchased at the park headquarters or the Information Center in St. Paul.
