Stevens Pass Greenway travels through areas diverse and rich in beauty, verdant and green: from the saltwater port of Everett, through the grandeur of the Cascade Mountains, to the sunny fields and orchards of Wenatchee. This byway is one of Washington's two year-round accessible mountain passes. The 105-mile scenic byway winds through stunning mountain passes, wild clear rivers, spacious valley floors, and deep shadowed forests. Glimpses of eagles, deer, and bear cause visitors to catch their breath.
Originally developed for the Old Great Northern Railway, the route is rich in rail history and is now considered a major corridor for rail freight mobility. Today, more and more people are drawn to the recreational aspects that exist. Enjoy the unlimited recreation opportunities which include white-water rafting, hiking, skiing, and auto touring.
