Driving the Byway

From Ogdensburg, travel south on Route 812. When Route 812 merges with Highway 11, turn left to continue southward into the city of Gouverneur. In Gouverneur, turn left on Route 58. Continue southward on Route 58, and turn right onto Route 812 near the town of Fowler. Follow Route 812 until it intersects with Route 3, and turn right on Route 3. Continue into the town of Harrisville.

From Harrisville, continue along Route 3. Turn left onto Route 812 and continue through the towns of Indian River, Croghan, and New Bremen. In the village of Lowville, turn left onto Route 26 to continue southward. Veer left onto Route 12, and continue through Lyons Falls and into Boonville.

In Boonville, turn right onto E Schuyler Street and continue straight towards the junction of Route 46. Turn left onto Route 46 and continue south until you reach the terminus in the city of Rome.
