  • Aplets and Cotlets Candy Kitchen Tour (WA)

    The charming, old world kitchen offers delightful samples of delicious fruit and nut confection. This nationally-known company has made these confections out of locally-grown produce for over 75 years.

    Location on Byway: 117 Mission Ave., in downtown Cashmere.

  • Art on the Avenues (WA)

    Art on the Avenues is a leisurely stroll through the downtown area to view outdoor sculptures. Artists loan their works to the Avenues for a year. During that time, the pieces are displayed outdoors on pedestals.

    Directions: Downtown Wenatchee.

  • Boeing Assembly Plant (WA)

    Learn more about the assembly of Boeing airplanes during weekday tours.

    Location on Byway: Everett--Paine field, west of I-5, exit 189.

  • Cashmere (WA)

    Cashmere is nestled in forests and sits on the banks of the Wenatchee River. Orchards line the hills and roads (the fruit industry is huge here) making for stunning autumns. The city is also minutes away from the mighty Columbia River.

    Location on Byway: The city is at the SE 'corner' of the loop. It's about 10 miles NW of the city of Wenatchee.

  • Chelan County Museum and Pioneer Village (WA)

    Native American artifacts, natural history exhibits, and 20 authentically-restored pioneer buildings.

    Location on Byway: It's on the southeastern 'end' of the byway, in Cashmere.

  • Deception Pass Bridge (WA)

    This lengthy bridge connects Fidalgo and Whidbey Islands.

    Location on Byway: The bridge starts on north Whidbey Island.

  • Historic Snohomish (WA)

    "Antique Capital of the Northwest." The historic city of Snohomish was founded in 1859 by E.C. Ferguson, who arrived looking to settle on the Military Road planned to connect between Fort Stelacoom and Fort Bellingham.

    Location on Byway: Snohomish is a few miles southeast of Everett.

  • Jetty Island (WA)

    Free ferry ride from Everett to this island. Saltwater beaches, abundant wildlife, nature trail, and family activities.

    Location on Byway: Just off the Everett waterfront.

  • Lake Chelan (WA)

    Play along the edges of this pristine, glacier-fed lake.

    Location on Byway: The lake starts on the southeastern 'corner' of the byway. It travels north (and a bit west) from there.

  • Leavenworth Bavarian Village (WA)

    Experience an authentic Bavarian atmosphere. The community used the backdrop of the surrounding Alpine hills to their advantage and completely renovated the downtown, along with instituting a series of festivals.

    Location on Byway: The town is about 25 miles northwest of Wenatchee.
