	Camping There is camping avaliable in the Tonto National Forest, at the Tortilla Campground. To make reservations, visit the ReserveUSA website at reserveUSA.com.		Food Food and water can be obtained at Apache Junction, Tortilla Flat (Milepost 213.5), Apache Lake Resort (Milepost 230.2), Roosevelt (Milepost 243.8), and in the restored ghost town of Goldfield.
	Gasoline The only gas or car-repair services are at Apache Junction or Globe-Miami.		Information There is an authoritative information center along this byway.
	Lodging There is overnight lodging along this byway.		Retail There are places to shop along this byway.

Special Considerations

The road is unpaved in many sections, but it is passable in most cars. It is not recommended for RVs or vehicles pulling trailers. Occasionaly, flash floods may cover the road in areas where it passes over creeks.

Restrictions

Most of the trail is a gravel and dirt road, but it is smooth-graded and easily maneuvered.
