Places to Visit

  • Caribou-Targhee National Forest (ID)

    The Caribou-Targhee National Forest occupies over three million acres and stretches across southeastern Idaho, from the Montana, Utah, and Wyoming borders.

  • Grand Teton National Park (WY)

    The Teton Range, for which the park is named, dominates the landscape with its jagged, glacially-carved peaks that rise without foothills from the west side of the park.

    Directions: Located east of the byway, in Wyoming

  • Yellowstone National Park (WY)

    At 2.2 million acres or 3,472 square miles, Yellowstone is the first and largest park in the lower 48.

    Directions: Located northeast of the byway, in Wyoming
