Driving the Byway

Beginning in Las Vegas, follow NV 159 west. When the road is heading almost straight south, you are on Red Rock Canyon Road. If you continue to Blue Diamond and NV 160, you saw only seven miles of the 39-mile byway. However, you can follow the loop off of NV 159 to view the rest of the byway, and meet back up with 159 32 miles later. If you begin in Blue Diamond and head north, follow the road as it forks to the left and follow the loop, or continue straight and take it in the opposite direction. NV 159 will take you to Las Vegas.
