Driving the Byway

Mount Rose Highway follows State Route 431 northeast from the intersection with NV 28 near Incline Village. The road terminates at its point of intersection with Highway 395. From this point one can follow NV 341 to Virginia City, take Highway 395 north to Reno, or south to Carson City. If heading south-west, at the end of Mount Rose Highway, follow NV 28 to see the astounding beauty of Lake Tahoe, or head west into California.
