Driving the Byway

The byway starts in Canyonville and to start the route, take Country Road 1 along the South Umpqua River.
In the community of Tiller, the route turns into Country Route 46, the South Umpqua Road.
Six miles east of Tiller, turn left on Forest Road 2810 for fourteen miles, then turn left onto Forest Road 2792 before moving onto BLM Road 28-3-35 to Red Top Pond.
From Red Top Pond the road turns into Country Route 18, the South Myrtle Road and continues for seventeen miles until the route ends at Mill Site Park in Myrtle Creek.
