Driving the Byway

Starting in Spring Valley

  • Begin your drive in Greene County at the intersection of US Route (USR) 42 and Spring Valley Road.
  • Travel south on USR 42 on a two-lane road for approximately 1.5 miles. The road then becomes a four-lane divided highway.
  • Continue south, passing through Mount Holly and continuing on into Waynesville. The byway continues through the Village of Waynesville on Main Street to State Route (SR) 73.
  • Continue on SR 73 for one block, returning to USR 42 and continuing south on USR 42 for two miles.
  • The byway ends where USR 42 becomes a two-lane road.
