Driving the Byway

From Detroit, Michigan (From the north): Follow I-75 South; Take Exits 13, 14, or 15; proceeding west visitors will cross Monroe Street (M125), which runs north and south and parallel to I-75.

From Toledo, Ohio (From the south): Follow I-75 North to Exits 13, 14, or 15; proceed west into downtown Monroe and visitors will cross Monroe Street (M125), which runs north and south and parallel to I-75.

US 24 (Telegraph Road) which runs north/south can also reach Monroe from the north (Detroit and its suburbs)or the south (Toldeo area), US 24 runs basically west of and parallel to Monroe Street (M125) and I-75.

Visitors coming to Monroe upon reaching city limits may follow any number of local streets east to Monroe Street.

From US 23 (From the west), travelers should exit at the Dundee, Michigan/M-50 Exit (Exit 11); follow M-50 east through downtown Dundee and into Monroe. M-50 which becomes South Custer Road, and eventually Front Street, will bring visitors into downtown Monroe and to the Byway.

From I-275 (From the North and West): Follow I-275 to I-75 South, then follow the directions above.
