A lot of picnic areas exist, most without shade, however. There is a nice pavillion with a grill, a baseball field, and a playground. Plenty of parking is also available.

On holidays, campsites tend to fill up quickly, so arrive early for the best spots. This park has a first-come, first-serve policy - reservations are not taken.
