Driving the Byway

This byway is only 18 miles long and provides many sites and scenes for byway travelers. It connects the towns of Linville and Blowing Rock creating an alternate route for this section of the Blue Ridge Parkway.

To Drive the Byway:

• The byway begins in Linnville at the intersection of US 221 and NC 105.
• Take US 221 and follow it past Grandfather Mountain, the Linn Cove Viaduct, and the Moses H. Cone Memorial Park.
• The byway ends in Blowing Rock at the intersection with US 321 Business.
