Driving the Byway

The Scenic Road itself:

Starting from the town of Nogales, the road travels north on S.R. 82 for 27.5 miles, then from Sonoita continues north on S.R. 83 for 25 miles.

How to get to the road:

From Tucson, travel south on Interstate Route 19 through Tubac to Nogales where the scenic road picks up on State Route 82. If traveling east on Interstate Route 10 past Tucson, take the south turnoff on the scenic State Route 83 to Sonoita.
