	Fees A South Dakota State Park Entrance license is required for vehicles to travel the road. A temporary or annual park entrance license is available.		Camping There are places to camp along this byway.

Special Considerations

There is a possibility of congestion, consisting of free roaming herds of buffalo crossing the road, or waiting for the begging burros to move aside.

Restrictions

The speed limit on the road is 35 mph. . The route is open year round, and is designed for two lanes of traffic. The route is suitable for buses, motor coaches, motor homes, passenger cars, and other vehicles.

The Wildlife Loop Road is a paved, all-weather road and is open year-round.

High Season

The busiest time of year is the summer, however, only approximately 70,000 vehicles per year travel the route.
