Driving the Byway

First Fork:

• In the Flats District, go south on West 25th Street.
• Turn left (southeast) onto Broadview.
• Follow Broadview to Schaff Road and turn left (southeast).
• Merge onto Granger Rd. (east) and go 1.3 miles, until just after the Cuyahoga River.
• Turn right (south) on to Canal Road and continue south.

Second Fork:

• Follow the Carter Road Lift Bridge east, which crosses the Cuyahoga River to Eagle Avenue.
• Go northeast on Eagle Avenue until you reach Highway 14 and turn right (southeast).
• Turn slightly right onto Broadway Ave. (southeast).
• Turn right (northwest) onto Rockefeller Avenue and turn right (south) onto Independence Road, which parallels the Cuyahoga River.
• Independence Road becomes East 49th Street.
• Follow this road until it merges with Canal Road and continue south.

Third Fork:

• Follow the Carter Road Lift Bridge east, which crosses the Cuyahoga River to Eagle Avenue.
• Go northeast on Eagle Avenue until you reach Broadway.
• Go southeast on Broadway for about 4 miles.
• Turn right (south west) onto Warner Road.
• Follow Warner Road for about 2 miles until it merges with Canal Road and continue south.

From Canal Road to Barberton

• Go south on Canal Rd.
• Turn right (west) onto E. Pleasant Valley Rd.
• Turn left (south) onto Riverview Rd.
• Continue going south on Riverview Rd. for 17.9 miles, until the road becomes Merriman Rd.
• Go south on Merriman Rd. and turn right (southwest) onto N. Rhodes Ave.
• Turn left (east) onto Monroe St.
• Turn right (south) onto Rand St., follow this road until it becomes Rhodes Ave.
• Merge onto Innerbelt going south.
• Merge onto I 76 West and follow it as it turns south and then west toward Barberton.
• Turn right (south) onto Wooster Rd. and continue the byway in Barberton.

From Barberton to Canal Fulton

• Turn left (east) onto Tuscarawas Ave.
• Turn right (south) onto Van Buren Ave. and follow it for 1.9 miles.
• The road will become Cleveland Massillon Rd. going south.
• After 1.9 miles the road will merge with Erie Ave. going southeast.
• Turn right (southwest) onto Cherry St.
• Turn left (southeast) onto Canal St. and continue the byway in Canal Fulton.

From Canal Fulton to Navarre

• Go southeast on Canal St.
• The road will become Erie Ave. after 4.9 miles.
• Turn right (south) onto OH 236 and follow if for 1.9 miles.
• OH 236 will become 1st St. as you go through Massillon.
• Turn left (southwest) onto OH 241.
• Turn right (southwest) onto Walnut Rd.
• Turn left (south) onto OH 21.
• Take OH 21 into Navarre.
• Turn right (east) onto Wooster St. and continue the byway.

From Navarre to Zoar

• Go east on Wooster St and turn right (south) onto Market St.
• Turn left (southeast) onto Canal St.
• Canal St. will become Hudson Dr. after 3 miles.
• Continue on Hudson Dr. until you reach Riverland Ave.
• Turn right (southeast) onto Riverland Ave.
• Turn left (east) onto OH 212 and follow it into Bolivar.
• In Bolivar turn right (southwest) onto Fort Laurens Rd.
• Turn left (southeast) onto Towpath Rd. and go 2.3 miles
• Turn right (south) onto Dover-Zoar Rd. and skirt Zoar.
• Turn left (southeast) onto Canal Rd. and continue the byway.

From Zoar to Dover

• Go southeast on Canal Rd. toward Zoarville.
• Turn right (southwest) onto OH 800 and skirt Zoarville.
• Follow OH 800 to Dover were the byway ends.
