Meeting of the Great Rivers Scenic Route
Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center, IL
The Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center focuses on the often-untold Illinois story of Lewis and Clark. Exhibits discuss the preliminary information and knowledge gathered on the land west of the Mississippi River and the preparations, expectations and anticipations for the expedition. The highlight of the center is a 55-foot full-scale replica of the expeditions keelboat. The center also features a gift shop.
