Historic Weston was a major market town at the intersection of the Staunton-Parkersburg Turnpike and the Weston–Gauley Bridge Turnpike. Stop by the visitor center for information about a walking tour of its architecturally-distinctive downtown and residential Historic Districts. The visitor center is located in the Weston Colored School, an unusual brick one-room school that served eight grades. The Glass Museum tells the history of glass making in West Virginia, a well-known and excellent quality product of the state.
