Driving the Byway

The southern entrance to the byway is located near Antioch, at the junction of Highway 4 and Highway 160, and at the Antioch Toll Bridge. From there, the highway continues in a northwesterly direction, past Rio Vista, Walnut Grove, Locke, Courtland, and then Clarksburg. The byway (but not Route 160) officially ends at the southern city limits of Sacramento, as Route 160 intersects Interstate 5. Continuing on Route 160 will take the traveler past the State Capital Building and other state offices in Sacramento. At the other end of the byway, you can follow Highway 4 to the San Francisco Area.
